Griffith Park Los Angeles, One of the Largest City Parks in the United States

One of the largest city parks in the United States, Griffith Park offers a welcome escape from L.A. traffic. In addition to a stretch of hilly lanes and green spaces, this park is home to a variety of exciting attractions, from the Los Angeles Zoo to the outdoor Greek Theater. This is also the location of one of the most famous landmarks in the city: Griffith Observatory. Built in 1935, the beautiful Art Deco complex offers dozens of interesting exhibits, the outer world planetarium and several telescopes available for public use. A visit to the observatory at dusk offers a view of the stars that appear in the sky above and the lights of the city.

The Griffith Observatory (Los Angeles) is an observatory and planetarium park located south of Hollywood Mountain, 1134 ft above sea level. Founded in 1935, this place is open to the public for free from 12.00 pm - 22.00 pm weekdays and 10.00 am - 22.00 pm weekend, closed every Monday. To go there, you can use the redline metro, get off at Vermont / Sunset, then exit the sunset door. From there, you still have to take the LA Dept Of Transport (LADOT) bus which unfortunately only operates on weekends.

The Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles is known for its12 inches Zeiss Refracting telescope. The fame of this telescope is largely due to the fact that it has been used to allow general observations of the universe since 1935. More than five million people have looked through its lenses under the experienced guidance of the Telescope Demonstrators. The Griffith Observatory also known as light laserium shows the previous year even though they have been stopped since its presence.

The world's largest observatory was responsible for many astronomical observations in the twentieth century. Telescopic photographing, radio data collection, and infrared imaging among various observatory techniques have been able to be used to learn about space.
