There are no boring moments to watch the crowd in this sunny bohemian region, filled with artists, musicians, poets, singers, skateboarders and acrobats. From the chainsaw attractions to cyclists spouting fire, you will find Los Angeles at the height of its grandeur, eccentricity and freedom. Remember to tip these entertainers if you watch most of their performances or take pictures.
While walking along this 1.5 mile (2.4 kilometer) boardwalk, see various shops, shops and booths filled with souvenirs, jewelery, cheap glasses, T-shirts, and sandals. Ask your fortune to be foretold or your body decorated with a temporary tattoo. Along the boardwalk there are also Muscle Beaches, which are famous as the place where Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno (cast of the Incredible Hulk) form their abdominal muscles and biceps.
In this outdoor gym you will see pump iron ready for use while the acrobats bend, twist and twist their bodies into amazing shapes. You may join them. Simply buy a daily ticket (around $ 10) at the Recreation Office and Venice Beach Park on Ocean Front Walk and start practicing in front of the crowds of people passing by.
Leave an exciting and flamboyant spectacle, and come to a three-mile long beach that is well-maintained and organized. These waters are maintained throughout the day, so relax if you want more than just sunbathing on the sand. Rent a surfboard and conquer a few waves, but beware of other surfers. The LA Mediterranean climate makes Venice Beach a favorite place for most of the year, but is unusually dense in the summer. This beach is about 19 miles (30 kilometers) from downtown LA on the coast between Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey. Many parking areas are available near the beach.
